Since 2001, PIR has surveyed and mapped over 40,000 miles of underground pipelines and pipeline routes across upland, dry land, swamp, marsh and shallow water terrain. PIR’s experienced GIS (Geographic Information System) personnel utilize state-of-the-art GPS and conventional surveying equipment to conduct route centerline topographic surveys and integrity related surveys. We combine detailed mapping and assessment reports along with digital photography to present the right-of-way to the operator in great detail.
